Occasionally weep deeply over the life you hoped would be.  Grieve the losses.  Then wash your face.  Trust God. And embrace the life you have.  – John Piper

Even though the calendar dictates the days are longer, some mornings seem to have no sunrise.  The darkness of winter persists with sepulchral clouds that join forces with stormy veils and push back all light.  While my watch declares morning; darkness engulfs me.  Then I remember, the sun is no less brilliant behind the swirling veils of dark.  It isn’t less powerful or bright.  It will pierce the darkness and perhaps not create the sunrise colors one hopes to see, but it will light the gloomy landscapes and challenge the storms of night.

Don’t be discouraged.  it is still day and the LIGHT has come!

Arise, shine; for your light HAS come, and the glory of the Lord HAS risen upon you. (Isaiah 60:1)
